4 PEAKS CHALLENGE
CHALLENGE OVERVIEW
Come climb the highest peak in each of the four provinces of Ireland this summer! First in the series is Lugnaquilla at 925m in Co. Wicklow in the province of Leinster. We meet again to climb Carrauntoohil at 1039m in Co. Kerry the highest peak in Munster and Ireland. Next in the series is Mweelrea at 814m in Co.Mayo, Connacht and we will finish our challenge by climbing Slieve Donard at 849m in Co. Down in Ulster.
WALKING ROUTE
Each route will offer a flavor of adventure and excitement. From sweeping mountain vistas, steep terrain and wild mountain summits! All routes will be subject to the weather.

Don't have the time to climb all 4 peaks? Maybe you have climbed some of them before and you wish to climb your remaining unclimbed 4 peak summit? We have you covered! For those wishing to complete their collection of the 4 peaks you can book on to the individual dates, so long as there is space. Contact us for more information.
WALK INFORMATION
- Professional and qualified Mountain Leader.
- First aid trained and certified leader to REC 3/ Wilderness First Aid 3 standard.
- Fully insured activity and staff.
- Information and insights into the upland flora and fauna.
- Insights into local history and geology.
- Fun, engaging and informative Mountain Leader.
- Personal equipment as listed in the "required equipment" list.
- Food and refreshments.
- Transport.
- Car parking fees.
- Accommodation.
- Personal accident insurance.
- Hiking boots - It can be wet and boggy with off trail sections and open mountainside.
- Clothing suitable for hiking/sport - Avoid cotton/ jeans etc.
- Raingear - Waterproof jacket and leggings.
- Water & Nutrition/Food/Snacks.
- Extra layers such as a fleece jumper.
- Hat & gloves.
- SPF - even if it’s not sunny.
- Bug spray - There can be midge and ticks from spring to autumn.
- Any medications you may need.
- Small rucksack to hold the above items.
- Spare clothing such as socks/tops/bottoms/shoes for after the hike - you don’t need to carry these, leave them in the car for your return.
- Trekking poles if you normally use them.
